EVANGELIO: Lc. 10, 38-42
Comentario:
ES- De camino a Jerusalén Jesús entra en una aldea y visita a Marta y María. Nos muestra las actitudes del discípulo.
Marta, Marta: andas inquieta y nerviosa con tantas cosas; “María ha escogido la mejor parte”.
María antepone a cualquier otra preocupación la de oír al Maestro, se dispone a oír la palabra y cumplirla. Cristo alaba su actitud.
Recibir al Señor, detenerse, escucharle… es condición previa para poder hacer un servicio que llene y de sentido al discípulo.
Aprendamos a ser verdaderos discípulos.
EN- On His way to Jerusalem, Jesus enters a village and visits Martha and Mary. He reveals to us the attitudes of a true disciple.
Martha, Martha, you are worried and anxious about many things; “Mary has chosen the better part.”
Mary places above all else the desire to listen to the Master. She opens herself to hear the Word and to live by it. Christ praises her attitude.
Welcoming the Lord, pausing, and listening to Him are essential conditions for offering a service that is meaningful and fulfilling for the disciple.
Let us learn to be true disciples.
