“Tal com jo us he estimat”
COMENTARI:
CAT- Jesús demana als seus deixebles que s’estimin com ell els ha estimat, fent de l’amor el signe distintiu del cristianisme. En una societat individualista i interessada, cal recuperar l’amor actiu i compromès de Jesús per no perdre la identitat cristiana.
Ja no es tracta d’una nova manera d’estimar, sinó d’un amor qualitativament, essencialment nou.
ES- Jesús pide a sus discípulos que se amen como él los ha amado, haciendo del amor el signo distintivo del cristianismo. En una sociedad individualista e interesada, es necesario recuperar el amor activo y comprometido de Jesús para no perder la identidad cristiana.
Ya no se trata simplemente de una nueva forma de amar, sino de un amor cualitativa y esencialmente nuevo.
EN- Jesus asks his disciples to love one another as he has loved them, making love the defining sign of Christianity. In a self-centered and self-serving society, it is essential to recover Jesus’ active and committed love in order not to lose the Christian identity.
It is no longer just a new way of loving, but a love that is qualitatively and essentially new.
